Hazim Haemoglobin and the Beautiful Depression

If the music be the food of love, then play on sir. Play on
so I shall blanket this silence with a hardlined rant over a 4/4 beat

The louder the public speaker
the more he has to hide
My words paint calculated pictures for common eyes
When I'm soaked in solitude, I shed away away so much time
Nobody will get through when I'm yelling to the man in the sky
Welcome to the beautiful lie

sigh.

Rattling my brain for a
practical solution
Shelving all this pain just to toe all this tension
Throttling laughter in my sore throat buckling under apprehension
Smiles fade off into my middle finger-laced tigh-tlipped dispositions
Welcome to the beautiful depression

Fumbling towards the dead air between my polar opposites. Go on
and roll your eyes, step over me now. Allow me to revel in my own downfall

sigh.

Beautiful Depression
